Hypnotherapy For
Midlife Crisis

When you hit midlife, life can get rough.

Your forties and fifties was when it was meant to get fun, right?

Sorted out a bit of a career, know who you are, finally have some free time once the kids have left home, fit and healthy and ready to get out there with some extra cash.

But instead, you feel empty, alone, confused, angry, generally pissed off with everything.

The person in the mirror doesn’t look like you – it looks like your mum or dad. You look….old!

The flash sportscar you wanted so much costs a fortune to run and hurts your back when you drive but you daren’t admit it.

Maybe the kids haven’t left home, and are still sat around, you were never like this when you were their age.

Or maybe they’ve left, and now they’re gone you feel like you don’t know who you are anymore now you’re not “Mum” or “Dad” any more.

Or maybe the partner and the family never appeared (or didn’t last), and rather than feeling footloose and fancy free, you feel alone and adrift in a world full of happy families.

Perhaps midlife has come with health issues – whether it’s physical pain or mental pain from stress, bereavement or divorce.

Research shows most people are most miserable when they get to be 47 years old.

For many people, midlife is just extended guilt, regret and shame, and the future can look uncertain and bleak – and suddenly, the phrase “midlife crisis” makes sense.

But you can’t tell anyone, so you just put on your best smile and pretend it’s all great, feeling completely shit inside.

crisis
way-to-survive

There are ways to survive
a midlife crisis.

It should be easy to just “snap out of it”, shouldn’t it?

You could “kitchen dance” – that’s meant to cheer you up

You could try having a healthier diet – there’s plenty of studies to suggest that what happens in our guts affects our moods.

Cutting back on the alcohol can help – it is a depressant, after all.

You could take up exercise to get these good endorphins going.

You might want to explore talking therapy like counselling or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

You could even try visiting the doctor and exploring anti-depressants.

If you’re female, you might want to explore, with your GP, if you could be peri-menopausal or menopausal, as that often brings with it emotional changes.

Being happy in mid-life ain’t easy, but these types of solutions do work for some people.

And if they’ve worked for you, that’s brilliant!
Some people have great success with these solutions.

They feel better, feel happier, and find that mid-life really is a new lease of life.

They’re filled with delight, using the knowledge they didn’t have in the first half of their lives to allow them to fully live, free and happy and joyful as they age.

But, if you’re still reading, chances are none of these have worked for you.

Or they’ve not worked quite well enough.

And that’s this is where hypnosis comes in.

How hypnosis can help you.

My name’s Vic and I’m a hypnotist.

And as a hypnotist, I know that you carry round guilt, shame and anger.

Maybe this is from something you did – and that’s okay. We all make mistakes.

But often, the guilt, shame and anger isn’t yours. Someone has given it to you, and you’ve kept hold of it.

Using hypnosis, I can help you let go of those unhelpful, unwanted feelings.

I can even do it without you telling me what caused them in the first place.

With hypnosis, I can help you let go of issues from the past, and help you move towards a brighter, happier future.

A future where you’re not held back by negative images, thoughts, feelings or emotions from the past.

Together, we can help you start a brand new chapter, in a brand new life.

We’ll create the future you want, so that when you look back from that future to now, you’ll see there was a path you’ve followed.

A path that led you to a perfect life, and the first step was hypnosis.

It’s time to stop wallowing in the past.

I offer a free twenty minute consultation so you can see how hypnosis is different – and how it can help you move forwards in freedom.
