Hypnosis For Peri-Menopause and Menopause Anxiety

Anxiety is completely and utterly shit, isn’t it?

Did you know that anxiety is a common symptom of the peri-menopause and menopause?
Did you know that increased mood swings, irritability and weepiness are also symptoms of the peri-menopause and menopause?

Don’t worry if you didn’t – many GPs don’t seem to know either!

If you’re a woman aged from mid-thirties onwards, and you’ve found yourself suddenly becoming more anxious, it could be due to the peri-menopause or menopause.

Even if you’re still having regular periods.

Your anxiety could be about a whole variety of things.

Maybe it’s about your health.

Maybe it’s about the health of your parents, or your children, or your partner.

Maybe you’re finding yourself struggling with self-doubt.

Or find yourself not being able to make your mind up about anything any more, and are just second guessing yourself all the time.

For some people, the anxiety can become so bad that it becomes panic, or panic attacks.

And that can become completely debilitating.

Some people with panic attacks find themselves not even able to leave their home.

There’s lots of solutions for menopause related anxiety

You might have been tried some of them.

The first and most obvious solution is HRT (hormone related therapy); this can be tablets, patches, gel or even a coil that has female hormones (oestrogen and progestrone) to help replace the hormones that get lost as you age.

Some people are also prescribed anti-depressants or other medications to help control their anxiety.

Some people are prescribed counselling or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

You might have tried telling yourself that you’re just “being silly” or “being daft”.

You might have tried different diets or supplements.

You might just have tried avoiding all the things that made you feel anxious.

And if that’s worked for you, that’s brilliant!
Some people have great success with these solutions.

They find their anxiety is no longer a problem.

But, if you’re still reading, chances are none of these have worked for you.

Or they’ve not worked quite well enough.

And that’s this is where hypnosis comes in.

How hypnosis can help you.

My name’s Vic and I’m a hypnotist.
It’s not uncommon for peri-menopausal or menopausal women to find themselves still living with anxiety or worry, even after they start successfully taking HRT or other medications.

Because worry and anxiety can become a pattern.

We can get really good at doing something that is really bad for us.

And that’s what anxiety is – you’ve got really good at thinking bad thoughts.

And just like anything else, the more you do it, the “better” you get.

Even if anxiety is meaning you’re “surviving” rather than living.

I’m a hypnotist.

And as a hypnotist, I help people change unhelpful behaviour.

Because really, your anxiety is just trying to protect you.

Avoiding the thoughts won’t help – they’ll just get louder until you pay attention.

I can help your unconscious mind realise that you don’t need to be protected.

And instead, it can be taught to do something more productive.

Imagine if you could spend all the energy, all the time, you spend worrying on something constructive.

How fantastic would that be?

Using hypnosis, we can deal directly with your unconscious mind to help change it’s behaviour.

Creating a positive, lasting difference.

A difference that can make all the difference.

So that you can start a brand new chapter, in your brand new life.

Ready to change your life?

I offer a free twenty minute consultation so you can see how hypnosis is different – and how it can help you get your life back on track.
